Hi GuysChat

It's been quite a week for Buddy and I. First off, we miss Daddy terribly. Then, we've both been sick. We are just getting better now. I have a busy season in my photo business coming up here pretty soon. I've got a senior graduation session, engagement shots, a wedding, and the children's diabetes walk here in Eau Claire. After that, I guess I'll be getting lots of calls. I might have to declare a "time off for family time" Weird, considering that my business wasn't even started at the begining of this year.

But God has been faithful, as you can see. He promises to supply all our needs. I might want something, but it is the need He provides for. All in all, my life is briming with His blessings. I can not believe that awesome husband he's provided me with. And to top it off, a beautiful son.

Well, take care guys. Here is a pic of the 4 cousins together.

Always in Him,
Rebecca Renee

Hi all thanks for your patience with your sis and daughter :) Often I am a wild dreamer and quite dramatic when it comes to every detail in life! Joe I was giving you a teasingly hard time, but my brain couldn't quite comprehend your response - sorry - too much studying. sorry if I offended you, but I do come from a different era than you, by 2 1/2 years ;) As for the law enforcement thing, I've always been interested in it, but don't think it's #1 priority on my list. I'd love to be an undercover cop - but that wouldn't have to be full time - I could still have a ministry and/or family and be the undercover detective. Besides, if God designed me better to funtion as a cop than a camp leader, He'll clearly lead me in that direction - honestly God can use anybody anywhere, I don't believe He is limited to one direction with one life. That's the whole fun of life - not knowing exactly what God has in mind but trying to find it out and discern what He's truly made me for - even if I fall flat on my face a million times, He's still gonna pick me back up on my feet, wipe the dust off, and we'll keep going - His will of good coming from my life is still gonna be accomplished no matter what - it's not up to me but Him, cause I am His. Love ya all! Kristina! Hi! I didn't know you were on the blog too! :)

I'm finally here!Chat

Hi All!
This is my first time on the blog! Hope you are all doing well! I love those pictures Bec and Lucas! Joe, is there anything besides money, kids, your wife, and sex that get you excited ;) Love ya bro :) Mama - smile more and jump on to the ride of life with zeal and joy. Life is not ever going to happen the way we think it should or want it to - God's plans are so much more amazing than we can imagine, leaving us to let go and dive into mid-aire by faith and experience the exhilaration of God taking control (or realizing He is) Ted, your an awesome brother - keep up the good work and enjoy the mishaps of life - makes it more exciting!
My latest crazy but exciting idea is to go to law enforcement school in Alabama after graduation - we'll see
Love you all!
Smile! - deep inside - let that light out :)

Have you laughed yet today?Chat

Here are a few things to ponder:
If you throw a cat out of the car window, does it become kitty litter?
If you choke a Smurf, what color does it turn?
What do people in China call their good plates?
When dog food is new and improved tasting, who tests it?
Why do they sterilize the needle for lethal injections?
Why do you need a driver's liscence to buy liquor when you can't drink and drive?
If the 7-11 is open 24 hrs. a day, 365 days a year, why are there locks on the doors?
You know that indestructible black box that is used on airplanes? Why don't they make the whole plane out of that stuff?
If they sqeeze olives to get olive oil, how do they get baby oil?
If you are driving at the speed of light and you turn your headlights on, what happens?
Why do they put Braille dots on the keypad of a drive-up ATM?
Why don't sheep shrink when it rains?

Just thought it'd be fun to share these quotes with y'all - hope you laugh!

Working ManChat

Preparing for the missions meeting at church, I was reclining on the carpet. I noticed all the items on the floor with me and thought it would make an interesting picture. So, here it is. The top left has my little known TODO list I have with me at all times. Then, there is hydration, my appendage (also called a computer), a communication device, living hydration, a book about starting a business in MN, and a letter from my girl, Sarah. The notepad with the pen are my preparations for leading the missions meeting that evening.

All those things can go hand-in-hand - from work to the sacred as Jesus is the common thread and unifier of all of life.

And, it's Valentines day today - make your sweethearts extra special today... and then tomorrow... and then the next...

Please pray for me and my family. We are going to be giving to a family from what we need and do not have. They are very needy and we believe that it is the right thing to do. God says we will be blessed. I am a straightforward, logical kind of guy and hate to let go of something that I cannot see a return on. Thus, I need your prayers to help me learn to trust God while being in complete obedience to him.

Well thenChat

I kinda felt left out, so I decided I was going to put a picture of me with the love of my life out here. Guess I'm pretty boring, cause I really got nothing more to say. I can at least look forward to if anyone is gonna say anything about it. Somehow I have this really wierd feeling that I'm gonna get at least 1 comment. Anywho... it's late and I really should have been asleep like 3 hours ago, but oh well; what are you gonna do. Love y'all!

My creative sideChat

My creative side kicked into high gear over the past month. I have wanted to dress up as Marge Simpson ever since I went to Last years costume party... How sad is that! Anywho; I've been putting the costume together for about a month now, and finally had the chance to show it off today! I was very proud of it, and it got a lot of good comments.

My wonderful boyfriend decided to let me dress him up as Homer. We were quite the pair, and looked very close to the real thing.

I will get a picture of the costumes up here as soon as I can... but until that you'll have to use your imagination.

Hey everybodyChat

Believe it or not this is my first time visiting this site. How horrible of me. Oh well, it's real cool anyway. Wish I could make a comment on the picture of the two little angels in bibs... but for some odd reason it won't let me.

At workChat

I have a midterm today which I have not really studied that hard for. I have decided on my priorities and not studying too hard for simple tests is one of them. One of my customers works at Dunn Bros coffee and makes me want to walk in and smell the awesome flavors.

I'm at work.

The Name of our 1st BabyChat

Wow...it's still exciting as the day we found out we were pregnant! Sometimes it's amazing to me that there is actually a life growing inside of me...and I only have 3 1/2 more months until labor...ouch! But I guess I have a lot of time to prepare fo that...teehee. And I know that God will give me the grace, oh and the strength to break the bones in Lucas' hand. Teehee.

If anyone didn't know, the name of our baby boy is Jamison William Carey. Some people don't like the name Jamie, which is a given to have a nick name when they get older, so we'll probably call him Will for short. I kinda like JW too. But I'm going to call him Jamison...it's a mother's right. :) Hey, doesn't that sound wierd? I'm a mother and Lucas is a father! Right now I'm knitting a blanket for Jamison. I dropped a few stitches in the process but I'm sure he'll forgive me due to the fact that he's too young to care, and that it's my first time at a REAL knitting project.

Well, we love you guys. Keep your eyes glued to the telli from noon 'til 3pm on Sunday. VIKINGS FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON! Go Vikes! Love you, see you all soon, hopefully. Love Bec and Lucas

Divorce, RemarriageChat

Ok. Reconcile Matthew 19:5. That is the only verse in the Bible where Jesus says to divorce for a specific reason. Also, 1 Cor 7 tells women not to remarry but not men. Please explain.

PS: Only use Scripture. Not other man's words or opinions. Thank you.

Chatty AdamChat

So, TWF this weekend was hot... very hot. I didn't go. Ted did but it wasn't like all of us got to see each other. How'd it go for others?

Is there a time we can all get together this year, before the school year starts again? How about a State Fair thing?

On my way out to South Dakota in August, if I have time, I would love to stop by Joe and Kris's! It is a bit out of the way, but I would love to. Everyone on the trip knows you and we could do a pit/potty stop and get some refreshement!

BTW, Storybook Lodge looks like it will be October 6-9 or somewhere thereabouts! That weekend anyway.

Bye for now. I get to go back to Hamline University to study physics some more. Hey, I got a 95% on my midterm. It was tough test, but I loved it. And, all my meals are paid for. I am living like a king, only paying for fuel to get back and forth, but I even get a stipend! Couldn't be better. I love what I get from you all paying taxes. Onen more week of it then a Calculus workshop then I am done for a week, then Summit. Wow. State Fair, here we come... and then school starts. A teacher has the life! Envious, any of you? Oh... yeah, Ted make the dough, not me... but when you are where you love, ministering to kids, not so much dough is ok.

Take care all.
